Saving Protected Documents to Matter Centre
Mon 24 Feb 2020 - 7:59
We have documents provided to us by our court form supplier that are password protected.
When we try to save these documents into Matter Center using the document save wizard we get an error “The password was incorrect”.
Is there any way to save these documents?

Because we need to store data to track the document we need to have some access to the document. what we would do in this scenario is amend the precedent and
place a password/protection key that is generic to us that we use to protect/unprotect with I can't remember from the top of my head this.password but will send
through later. there are tools that will allow you to unlock these documents lostpassword.com is good if you are not aware of the password. how this works is we
basically is a common password that will maintain the integrity of protection but allow us to maintain the document.

The generic password we use on forms is Fwbs$forms this allows the region and document to remain protected whilst in use and then is unprotected pre save and
reprotected to store to disk.
reprotected to store to disk.
