Search for a string in scripts

I was wondering if there was a way of finding out everywhere a “Specific Data” item has been referenced in our scripts. I guess the same question would apply to our Code Lookups etc., in fact I'd really like to be able to search for any string in our MC code!
In my case, I want to convert a piece of specific data to a code lookup, so need to amend all references to it.
