Add An Associate In Script

Hi,
we have a requirement to add an associate to the file automatically if a certain criteria is met during the taskflow.
Is there a way for this to be done in the script (via a method for example where you'd pass in the contact ID?), or would it be a case of manually writing values to the associate table?

I noticed there's a

Code:

CurrentFile.Associate.Add

method but I'm not sure if it's what I need.thanks

CurrentFile.Associate.Add is the correct way to add a new associate.
