Issues with comparison documents and versions

Has anyone encountered problems with the saving of comparison documents into Mattersphere, where it chooses the wrong version number? This is happening to us, intermittently.
For example, you have a document with versions 1, 2 and 3. You compare V2 against V3 and try to save the resulting 'Redline' comparison. Mattersphere should try to save this as version 3 or 3.1 but instead only lets you save as version 2 or 2.1. If you instead save the redline somewhere outside of Mattersphere and use 'Import Version', it lets you choose the correct version number.
We thought this might be an isolated incident but have seen it across multiple matters, documents and users. Note: We are using Workshare as our '3rd party comparison tool'.
I'd be interested to know if anyone else has had a similar issue, especially if using something other than Workshare to compare documents!
Mattersphere Support have investigated this a few times for us but we've not been able to narrow down the potential causes of the problem at all, or reliably reproduce it.

Have emailed you, Jamie. We reported the same issue a while back and have been told it has been fixed in the latest release. I hope to test this tomorrow.
